Emily was my favorite toy. I got her Christmas 1984. I loved babies(and still do). She was so life-like, with little baby wrinkles and even a soft spot on her head. She wore real diapers too! I remember cleaning her with q-tips and always taking wonderful care of her. She was a real baby to me. There were a few times that she was mistreated by a couple of my siblings(Ivy or Dana) and I would find her without her head. I would cry and then fix her. Mom gave me real baby clothes for her. She also begged a door to door salesman to sell her the model stroller he had because it was the perfect size for Emily. I still have that stroller. She was the only baby doll I ever played with after I got her. I hated cabbage patch kids because they didn't look like babies and were hard. I remember that the only other doll I liked at all belonged to one of Liza's friends(Jennifer B?). It was really cool because it had a soft, jelly belly. I still have Emily and all her clothes. She is almost 24 years old! Grandma Murray made me matching pink booties and hat for her, which are priceless to me now. I have thought about giving her to Evey someday, but only when she can really take care of her. Emily was my most prized possession for years, only to be replaced with the real thing.
